Prize money Euro 10.000
For the third time the Kunsthalle Messmer offers an art award. The prize is dedicated to the Swiss painter André Evard (1876 – 1972) whose passion was constructive/concrete painting.
The prize is addressed to artists who committed themselves to the constructive/concrete art.
Participation/prizemoney is as follows:
Part 1: pre-selection of 80 artworks in an exhibition from February 9 till 25 May 2013 in the Kunsthalle Messmer in Riegel am Kaiserstuhl;
Part 2: selection by an art committee.
Participation conditions:
Every artist is allowed to submit only one work. Admitted are paintings and objects realized after January 1st 2010. The paintings may not be larger than 140 x 140 x 15 cm. Sculptures and objects may not be higher than 200 cm and may not weight more than 50 kg.
